What services does Plurals provide?
We offer translation, proofreading, copywriting and document adaptation services, video and audio transcriptions, subtitling and accessibility for the hearing and sight impaired.
However, this list is not inclusive and we can execute any project you may have that is related to language and communications. Please contact us and we are confident we can do whatever you need.
What languages do you work with?
Plurals works with the main languages of the EU, but please don’t hesitate to contact us if you need another language pair. We will do everything possible to help you.
Who do you work with?
We have a team of professional linguists who all have degrees and experience in their fields. Translations are always done by native speakers, that is, they translate into their mother tongues.
Is there a minimum rate?
For small jobs (less than 300 words), we charge a minimum one-hour rate to cover our project management costs.
In which format will I receive my documents?
You will receive the document in the same format as the original, unless we have specifically agreed to deliver it in another format.
When will I receive the documents?
For translation, we calculate the delivery time at some 2000 words per day, plus one day for editing.
For proofreading, we can edit approximately 3 to 4000 words per day, depending on the text.
For subtitling, we calculate an average of 25 to 30 minutes of video per day.
And what if I want to make changes to the text after receiving it?
We work with our clients until they are 100% satisfied, which is why the estimate includes two rounds of style changes, with no additional charges.
How do you guarantee the confidentiality of information?
We handle all information you provide us with absolute confidentiality and we fulfil the requirements of the Spanish personal data protection acts (LOPD and LSSI). Our entire team has also signed confidentiality agreements, which obligate them to maintain secrecy.
What is a sworn translation?
A sworn translation is an official translation that must be delivered printed and includes the signature, stamp and certification data on the translator, who must be officially certified by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, or by the Government of Catalonia, for Catalan.
A sworn translation is legally valid and can be submitted to all public and private institutions in any country.
How do I hire your services?
You just have to contact us by email (enllaç a correu) or ring us and tell us what you need. If you send us the documents, we will give you a detailed final estimate and, naturally, we handle all information with full confidentiality.
After approving our estimate, you sign it and send it back to us. And then we will get to work. We guarantee the agreed delivery date and the conditions.
Finally, we will send you an invoice for the job, which must be paid within 30 days.
